July 7, 1927: Christopher Stone's first perform on BBC


July 7, 1927: On this day, for the first time, BBC play the records of British Disc Jockey, Christopher Stone.

The recorded program on BBC was Christopher Stone's idea. He eventually asked BBC to adopt his idea. His casual style made the broadcast became highly popular during the era.

After he joined the commercial station Luxembourg, he was banned from performing.  He later on he returned to the BBC.
