ReplyDeleteOooooo ! Oooooo! Want want want! Fortunately going to place an order quite soon!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Richard. As good an actor as Waterman was, the scripts weren't as sharp and the Gildersleeve character lost much of his bite.
ReplyDeleteI still like them both.
ReplyDeleteIt had run its' course by that time.
ReplyDeleteyeah, but somehow Gildersleeve lasted about 7 more years on radio after Waterman took over
ReplyDeleteI like them both but it took waterman about 50 episodes to get going you can even hear it in the crowd with the lackluster clapping when waterman first to go over but after a while they were back into it but I do like both of them
ReplyDeleteWow it's only been 11 years since the last comment I know not many people even have heard the name the great gildersleeve but they not know what they're are missing if that even sounds right I absolutely love it
